Summer challenge *updated - add your numbers*

Hiya,

I couldn't find a summer challenge so I thought I'd start one.

My challenge is 65 days (till a wedding) and my aim is to lose 45 lbs.

Please feel free to join in. We can update our losses weekly.

I would like to join in the challenge.  I just discovered this diet.  I am on Day 2.  I have a vacation planned the first week of June and would love to see 20-30 lbs gone by that time.

Happy Day One ASlimmerme!!

I think the great thing about this plan is to eat whatever works for you, whatever is accessible for you, and whatever you want. The main key seems to be the reduced bite count which is what leads to the smaller stomach size and thus more accelerated weight loss.

I love fish, cabbage, baked sweet potatoes, lamb, etc... BUT I also look forward to permitting myself a few bites of cheesecake, or snickers when I feel the need.

I am only on day 3 but I look forward to a successful weight loss journey and beyond.

Thanks for the response. ..today is day 2 for me and i managed to make it thru....had a headache last night tho Sad but still did not eat since i had my 10 bites for the day....what are some things i can do so that my head is not hurting? ?? I was not hungry it was just a headache

Good Morning!

I haven't had a headache yet, but I would just take whatever over the counter meds you would normally use. This is pretty normal symptoms when your body is ridding itself of extra toxins when starting a new diet. I just make sure I drink plenty of water. Drinking tea or hot beverages seems to help with hunger pains and thus may help subside your headache. I also chew sugar free gum to help me endure. I am not sure what 5bite diet experts have to say about sugar free gum. But other than gas, it has always been a lifesaver for me when dieting.

Welcome suzylynn! A beach vacation sounds like an awesome goal to shoot for. I hope you have an awesome first day!

i've lost about 20 over the past 2 months with diet and exercise.

just discovered the 5 bite diet. i'm on day 3

currently at 192
goal weight 145 (by august - fingers crossed)

I would like to join!

My goal is to lose 30 lbs to be at 18.5 BMI. I am not putting a time frame on it because I am not really sure how long it should take. I am not very tall (which means less lean body mass) and it might take me just a little bit longer to lose weight (since someone taller has more lean body mass and therefore requires a larger intake of food).

I am on day 4 but I slipped up last night...

My weigh in will be Fridays, too.

I actually started on 4/26 at 179. Got down to 171.4 but have failed myself this past week. Sad I just got my book in the mail and my head is back in the game. I love reading everyone's posts....it's very encouraging.

After my Mothers Day cheat weekend...I'm back on track and losing again. I had actually put on 3 pounds last weekend (holy cow). But today I'm happy to report...

I just discovered this diet and am looking forward to losing weight! I try and fail, try and fail..story of my life! I would love to do this challenge with u guys, esp bc I'm getting married in sept and going to Jamaica. So I need to lose weight!!
