l- 1/2 cup vegan stir fry
d- 1/3 cup lentil stew mixed w/ 1/3 cup water w/vegan ranch

I did my squats yesterday and also did a 15-minute weighted hoola hoop work out...I'm feelin' it today!!!!

Still using the one minute timer app and it is helping.

I am sore all over...I will try to do my squats today, but I will not be doing the hoola hoop workout until I am no longer sore!

I was so sore last week.. lol.. I am going to get even more sore now.. I have upped all my amounts and I am feeling so stiff.. lol.. yay we are doing it love!!! So proud of us!!

I bought a hula hoop a few months ago after learning that you can burn a lot of calories and I also found it fun. But I was never able to make it stay up. I watched so many tutorials on youtube, read lots of articles on the website and I finally gave up. Rolling Eyes

Claire- Was your hoola hoop weighted b/c if it's weighted it's supposed to be to easier to stay up!

I was still hurting too bad last night to do anything! I didn't even do my squats...I'll try to do them tonight and we'll see about the hoola hooping.

Herb'sgirl, we figured out that 5 bites is about 1/3 cup. I have been doing 1/4 cup and now I'm trying to reduce it down to 1/3 cup for both meals. My lunch was already pre-measured for the week, so I didn't want to fool with re-measuring it. So, this week I had 1/4 cup for lunch and 1/3 cup for dinner (and since it was soup I added an extra 1/3 cup water to it.) Next week I will measure 1/3 cup for both meals and this will be true five biting. If I leave it up to my mouth to bite, my my bites are huge!!!!

No loss, but maintained! Also, I haven't been to the bathroom in few days. But tonight is Mexican night and high in sodium so I don't expect a big loss for tomorrow. I'm going to keep at it!!!! Who knows, I may just meet my birthday goal after all or at least come close!!! Consistency is the key!!!!

Snow White you are so right, Consistency is key! Because all those little things we do to stay on plan, add up, and after a few days of little things adding up, the scales will show it! Maintenance is important too!

I had trouble with not going to the bathroom for a while, eating so little. Then the scales wouldn't show loss, like you said. I took Magnesium Citrate to help me stay regular. I started a new 6 a day prenatal vitamin that seems like it might be helping me too! I feel bloated ect if I don't go regularly!

Measuring or biting, Its all portion control!bounce bounce Very Happy Very Happy

The Saturday meals were vegan and portioned, but highly processed and high in sodium. I am hoping this is the reason for the scale not moving this morning.

Sun.

l- 5 bites vegan stir fry (I forgot to bring my measuring cup!)
d- 1/3 cup broccoli tomato soup (mixed with 1/2 cup water)

Since I forgot my measuring cup for lunch, I probably won't see the scale moving tomorrow. At least when you don't lose, you can pinpoint why. Even if I don't end up losing anything this weekend at least I stayed on plan and helped keep my stomach small.

hang in there girl! The scales WILL go down, if you stay faithful to your plan! That's kind of what I tell myself, If I just keep going the scales will go down eventually.Very Happy  You are so close to the 150's, just think, it wont be long and you will see it, if you stay faithful!!!!!!!!!!!!!flower flower flower

Totally not vegan. I felt horrible and went to the doctor, I don't have the flu so they just loaded me up on antibiotics. Not happy! I haven't felt this bad in a long time. I ate the pizza thinking it might soak up some of the mucus making my stomach feel so badly. I was a hard core vegan for 4 months!!!!

Wed.-

l- 1/2 banana, a few grapes, and a few licks of peanut butter off a spoon (I was not hungry at all and had to force this down.)
d- planning Mexican
Today's my son's 12 birthday and we are celebrating!!!
I still feel terrible and did not sleep last night at all. I will eat vegetarian for a while until I can get my sickness under control. I may even switch back to the VB6 (Vegan Before 6), but instead of eating meat after six, just eat vegetarian and count bites instead of measure.

I quit drinking and have not had a drink in 3 nights, tonight will be 4 nights. I figured out that I was taking in more vodka than food and that can't be healthy! Which is probably why I'm so sick right now. So, I gained! But there has to be a better way to keep on going and I'm going to find it!!!
