Everyone slips up sometimes...you're doing great...keep on going and keep on posting! It helps me to post daily what I'm eating and also reading on the forum helps a lot too. We're in this together! Smile

I'm not sure if you checked back in on my journal, but I just wanted to say that the 100 calorie soup seems to be helping me...It has only been one day but I still lost (actually 2.5 the first day with the soup). Today is the second day with the soup and I'll weigh in the morning let you know if I'm continuing to lose this way. Stay in touch and don't give up! You CAN do this!!!! : )))))

alexis: doing well...sometimes i get so busy i don't have time to post but yesterday was great!! i stuck to the 5 bites for l and d.

today was another great day....

b-coffee
l-4 egg sandwich 1 of cookie
d- 4 chicken 1 cookie

today was so much easier. thank God! it is really weird how these bites are filling me up... i can even tell if i do a little more or bigger bites for my 5 bites (it is still all in my head, me thinking that my 5 normal bites won't fill me up and i won't to make them really big bites) i am way more stuffed after. and for the first time in my life i don't like feeling overstuffed.

That is exactly how I feel too about my normal bites. It's like I will regret having taken normal bites if it leaves me feeling hungry. I totally feel guilty cramming it all in and I keep planning to take more normal bites too. I find that eating with a spoon provides much more control since I can't really cram it in. When I have the burritos and things I can literally take a bite out of that is when I take these huge bites.

You sound like you are going great though so whatever bite you are taking, it's working. I also can't believe that 1: I have leftovers at every meal. 2. I am surviving on 10 bites a day. 3. I haven't passed out yet and 4. I probably won't pass out since I barely feel hungry and the bites fill me. This is all still very STRANGE to me too lol.

alexis: it is crazy but i am almost scared to switch to eating with a spoon because i KNOW i will be eating a smaller bite! i know it's just in my head but i think i am going to try it soon...little steps in this journey...i am loving this diet. i have been very sick the past few days, fever, sore throat so it has kind of thrown me off but i know i am still eating very, very little....i really don't even have an appetite. today i made myself eat:

b-coffee
l-popcorn (the only thing that sounded appetizing to me however after eating a little it didn't really satisfy me)
d-soup

Mo, that is the beauty of 5-bites. It is really changing the way we eat even off-plan. Good for you for stopping at only a few bites Very Happy

MONDAY

TUESDAY
b-coffee
l-5 of burrito
d- chips and salsa at restaurant...hard to count that... tried to gauge how i felt as far as how full i feel when i eat a snickers bar. still went over though because when my hubby's food came (we were sharing) i still ate too much of that. however, like i have said before i still stopped before it got too crazy...normally i WOULDN'T have stopped until i was in pain!

man! just totally fell off the wagon...had a cookout at work and ate a hot dog....chips....beans ....more chips...i. couldn't. stop.

i don't know if i should skip dinner or try for 5 bites at dinner...just when i thought i was over stuffing myself it creeps in and pops up on me.

Mo, slips will come and go lol. As long as our commitment to 5-bite stays strong we are still WAY better off than week long binges, high calorie months, awful diets after awful diets etc.

Dust yourself off and get back on the horse. We are in this journey together.

Mo, Good job on your eating.. Focus Focus Focus is the way to go, right? I keep telling myself this daily. I kind of screwed up yesterday a bit, I did my same morning routine of tea but had lunch with a friend and ate 3 pieces of french toast but nothing for dinner. I still felt like crap because I didn't stick to my 5 bites.. Keep up the good work..
