40 lbs (well, 38.8, but pretty close!)in just a few days shy of 4 months!! I'm getting there! Its been a stready 10 lbs a month. More like, 10 pounds in a strict week, and then maintaining ( or gaining a few and then taking a few off) for 3, and then back to strict.....I wonder if I could just be strict for 2 weeks in a row what this diet would achieve!

I wish more people would post their pounds lost on this thread....it would be soooo motivating for everyone to see full pages of people "shouting out" their pounds off! Like those cheesy infomercials, lol. Laughing

edit: I just looked at my last post from when I was 30 down, and I realized that I am so bad with dates! Surprised I guess its been the last 10 pounds in 3 weeks-ish...I just want to try to be accurate....

I have lost 14 lbs in 2 weeks. I took last week off and am starting again today. I have a goal of 19 more pounds to lose. I have lost at the rate of one pound a day so I am pretty sure that I will be at my goal in about 3 weeks.

I am very determined to reach my goal. Three weeks is nothing compared to a lifetime of being embarrassed of my weight problem.

After taking about a million years off, I have maintained my 40, and lost 10 more somewhere between that last post and today, so I'm at 50 lost total. I started the last week of March. so about 8-9 months total, but took the summer off for the most part, and the last month or so. I'm back to strict, and plan on posting my loss two weeks from now!

I lost 6 or 7 lbs during my 1st week of the diet. I've stayed strictly to 10 bites a day, plus coffeemate in my tea.

teaismyhappyplace
thank you so much for all the help.
I have at least 45 pounds to loose, so it's a long way.
But you are right about it becoming something you do naturally after awhile.

I completely agree with everything! I am also a scale o holic- i think every 2 or 3 days is good. Yep- i have been on this for 6 days and it is now second nature for me- i barely think about it when im eating. 5 bites. Done. Throw it away or give it away. Its a no brainer. 12 pounds gone already. So yes- THIS WORKS! Good luck everyone! And yes- this forum is invaluable. Great motivator.

New to the site and need help ladies and gents...
my Dr had put me on meds that helped to lose the first
45 lbs. Now I need to shed the last 15 to 20 to be at a comfortable
155 or 160.
I am 5'7" and am not trying to become too thin for my frame.
The good thing is, the meds killed the taste of both pop and beer
so it's been water only for the last 4 months.
I started this journey yesterday and 5 bites it was....no problem.
currently I weigh 175 pounds and I have been struggling to shed the
last 15 pounds.
Reading the posts have been great.

I've lost 8.6 lbs in my first week. I wasn't totally true to it, but that's awesome for a week when standard working out and calorie counting wasn't budging my scale! I love you
