Coffee with artificial sweetner and Diet Ginger ale are daily staples.
Lunch- 2 bites of cheesy garlic bread (something to take my vitamins with)
Supper- to be determined

Supper- 4 bites of a tuna sandwich on toast and one bite of a cracker wth jelly.

It's amazing that I sit here 10 minutes later not wanting to eat more, not starving, and being totally satisfied.

I just have to learn to deal with the naysayers- ugh!

yes there are a lot of naysayers out there which is why not many people I know even know I'm on this diet. They see I'm losing weight and I just tell them its good portion control and they leave me alone Smile

Ya I sometimes wish I hadn't let people know. Because when I was 285lbs it was ok. But now some people think I'm to thin. and I explain healthy bmi and they say its wrong or something like that or joke that I can have six bites now or whatever or say your still doing that diet if I had it to do over I would just tell people I'm just watching what I eat people stay more positive with that I think sorry rant on your journal ivanabskinny love that name

I'm determined to do as well as you all have done and sometimes I just shake my head at people who have had NO success at weight loss trying to tell ME I'm doing it wrong. I wish I could help them see that if they did what we are doing they could be free from their enslavement of being so big.
I really want this, and I want my signature to work. I keep going back and trying to fix it but it doesn't stick. Oh well, I'll try it again! lol

3 days back on track and I'm down 4 lbs.
Thank you, Dr. Lewis for giving me the tools I need to get my health and body back.
I'm doing this for me! queen

I've not been focused

Focus and Dedication are back on track this week.

L- will be one deviled egg affraid (my deviled egg's look of horror)
D- to be determined

Today's struggles: I am fighting the urge to stress binge.
Didn't follow my 5 bites over the weekend so I'm having to restart.
I hate restarting.

Don't think of it as restarting, think of it as just jumping back on the wagon, don't think of it like day 1 all over again Smile for lunch do you really only have 1 devilled egg?? that is not 5 bites, it's like 2 at the most, are you really hungry after?

I figure it's 5 bites just for the fact that I think a snickers bar is only about 4 tablespoons if you cut it up into pieces.
I wasn't hungry until last night.

stay strong!! if you feel like ur hungry sometimes its better to think about what you are eating for the 5 bites rather than OMG I NEED MORE BITES. like 5 bites of protein i find is great till the next meal, but 5 bites of veggies are a total waste and 5 bites of carbs make me hungry the next day.

I second not thinking of this as restarting- just come back to where you were and fall in line with the diet. If you keep thinking of a restart of the diet you are going to beat yourself up over a small slip up. Just come right back like it never happened. Like a Star @ heaven Like a Star @ heaven

yeah that shows how everyone's bites are different, I can eat a snickers bar in 3 bites, lol so a devilled egg to me is like a piece of sushi, one bite, LOL I would be ravenous if that is all I had Smile

ok, hi me again ;)

Well, I haven't been great about being here daily but I'm trudging along.
2 weeks ago I reported a loss of 2 lbs. Last week I was stagnant, and this week I'm down 3.5 lbs.
Very happy about that. So wish it was faster, but it won't be. The good news is, I keep it off.
There are no more hugely fluctuating numbers on the scale.
Weight loss isn't magic, it's math. And, it's determination. Hey, I'm pretty good at math! And I want this more than
anything in the world.


Rock on my peeps, keep on keepin' on!
