weight down: 193.6 woohoo!!!!!

Yesterday I had a 1/4 cup of starch w/ lunch and 1/2 cup of starch w/dinner and veggies for the rest...I had a 1/2 banana in the afternoon.
I'll try that strategy again today and see if it holds! Tonight is Mexican night so I'm thinking of how I'll navigate through that! You know I may just fast for lunch...I don't know.

On Friday, I ate apple for lunch and then enjoyed my vegan mexican....lots of chips & salsa and I still lost! So, that may be the plan for my Fridays since we eat mexican every Friday!

I am still here!!!!
The challenge is still on!!!!!!

My internet has been down all week, but it's all fixed now. I went back to work this week and I just didn't have time to check in while at work. Students come back on Monday! : ))))))

I have maintained the vegan diet not straying ever! I fluctuated up some this week comforting myself with refined carbs! I will do better next week with that! I have been walking almost everyday which is major for me!

l- waffle fries & fruit salad
d- vegan sushi, sweet potato w/cinnimon

Oh Wow., That is awful to have your internet down honey.. I was getting concerned about you.. You are doing fab. I know you are going to be even better come school time.. no chance to pick at food.. Yay Wow the kids go back early.. Nina does not go back to school till Sept 2-4 I have to check but its still a month. Yay I am so happy you are back!!

I had a very busy day with church, lunch, grocery shopping, & then getting myself and the boys ready to go back to school!
We are all ready and it will be great!

Did a little stress eating w/ tortilla chips & guacamole after dinner, but otherwise a good day. I will be eating salads everyday for lunch this week and bringing an apple for a snack if needed. Vegan meals planned for all week.
leftover angel hair pasta w/marinara
vegan pizza
bowtie pasta w/marinara
vegan tostadas
spinach salad anytime!


I made some vegan ranch dressing today and I love it...measuring 2 tablespoons onto my lunch salad for the week.

b-tea w/vanilla almond milk
l- veggie burger no bun, steamed veggies
d- vegan sushi, spinach salad w/mushrooms avocado & vegan ranch

I am so happy you are all ready for school.. Your school kids must be so excited to be be back with you too. Yay I had a bit over eating tonight too.. when I started eating dinner I was so funny.. I just had to finish it.. I am not at all angry, just jumping back on it tomorrow! God bless Very Happy

...been too tired to cook so far this week...having healthy vegan salads for lunch...last night had mexican...tonight vegan pizza from the freezer (that I made and froze a while back).

I know the grains are holding me back!

weight: 195.8 down almost a pound, but I'm disappointed b/c I was down to 193 not too long ago!

Maybe with the grains I will try eating them every other day and see how that goes. So, I'll try to not have any grains tomorrow and see how that goes!

You are so right about when we were young we eat just about anything.. I was pretty small all the time.. uuugh.. but I still think I did not eat as much as I did as a adult..hmmmm Sounds like a good plan honey..grains every other day.. Yay..you are on to it now love.. Yay for the your loss..1lb is a great start back down.. Super!!

The heat here today was unreal...my thermometer outside said 110 when I got home at 5pm...I jumped straight into the pool! I haven't even looked in the that pool since work started back. I got cooled down and it was really nice. I need to take more time for myself just taking care of me sometimes, ya know???

NO GRAINS TODAY!!!! I LIVED!!!!!

Tomorrow I will have an apple for lunch then gorge on vegan Mexican food...my usual Friday night pleasure! I noticed from my notes that when I ate an apple on a Friday for lunch that my weight dropped to 193 and held for a couple of days. So, here is what I'm going to try:

Vegan everyday because I love it!

Mon.- no grains
Tue.- 1/2 cup grains w/ dinner
Wed.- 1/4 cup grains w/dinner
Thurs.-no grains
Fri.- apple for lunch, vegan Mexican for dinner
Sat.- 1/2 cup grains w/dinner
Sun.- 1/4 cup grains w/dinner

I'm not going to measure nuts, veggies, or fruits.

Now I'm a pizza lover, so I've got to figure out how much of a slice of pizza would constitute a 1/2 cup & 1/4 of grains for a pizza slice. I'm thinking 1/2 would be a small slice and 1/4 would be 1/2 of a small slice. When I'm hungry I'll fill up on fruit & veggies w/ some nuts if needed.

Was down yesterday but back up to 195.3...I guess the apple trick didn't work for the Mexican food binge!

Friday

d- vegan mexican food--spinach enchiladas w/no cheese, beans w/no cheese, rice, guac. & salsa w/tortilla chips

Saturday
b- nothing
l-baked potato w/nutritional yeast, applesauce, blackberries, & cucumber, tomato, onion salad w/italian (all of this at Cracker Barrel)
d- 2 vegan cabbage rolls, steamed broccoli & carrots w/nutritional yeast, garlic, & dill seasoning, avocado

Also, looking back at my notes, re: Friday apple lunch I was also measuring processed grains or rice at 1/4 cup for lunch and 1/2 cup at dinner. So maybe limiting the grains the way I am planning will help this week. I feel like with all I've given up the weight should be coming off a lot easier!
