Twin's 5 Bite Journal

Good Morning all! Early here, almost 1am. Tomorrow/today begins my 5 bite Journey. I have about 20 pounds I would like to lose. Hopefully I can at least lose 10 pounds by Thanksgiving. I have the book and have read the book. I will follow it exactly how he has it laid out. Exercise for me will be walking and Pilates. I bought the family a new puppy a few months ago so I look forward to taking him walking. I will report in the morning with a starting weight.

Starting weight this morning is 143.2. I had a last hurrah meal late last night of Taco Johns so I'm still holding onto all that sodium as well as having a stomach ache this morning. I'm headed to the store to get some decaff tea and stevia. I'll report back how the day went tomorrow night.

Hubby talked me into starting tomorrow instead since he wanted to make a big batch of chili today. I just had some and am quite full right now.

I'm still continuing on with this, just starting a day later.

What I had to do to start with 3 meals a day and wean myself down to two so I wasn't ravenous. I would have 3 bites for breakfast, 5 bites for lunch and then 2 for dinner, or switch it around, so it was still 10 bites a day but split a little more so my body could get used to less food without the full deprivation so maybe you can try something like that. It only took me like 3-4 days of that before I could skip a meal completely and just have lunch and dinner without any more ravenous feelings or hypoglycemic tendancies. But you are so motivating by continuing to try and try again, you can do this!!!!

Thanks for the kind words. I'm still struggling but I'm not giving up. I'm going to really focus this weekend. Work is so stressful right now and it doesn't help the fact that I'm starting to really hate being there but I have bills to pay. Again, I refuse to give up!

Just keep trying never give up and you will get there I have a hard time when under stress also. Hopefully it gets better for ya

Well I've been sick since Thursday with a upper respiratory infection, feeling better today. I'll be back at it tomorrow.
