Winifred's Journal

Post  bumbershoot on Fri Sep 09, 2011 6:16 pm

Day 1

Day 1 is a success! I found it surprisingly easy, but I'm sure it will get harder as time passes!
I managed to roll a slice of marmalade toast into a sausage shape and consumed in 5 bites.
Later on I had a classic snickers bar.
I washed it all down with an abundance of black coffee and diet coke- this makes it easier I think!
I'll weigh myself tomorrow morning because I think weighing myself will spur me on.
Bring on day 2!!! x

Day 2

Post  bumbershoot on Sat Sep 10, 2011 4:38 pm

I got through day 2 and I've lost 4 pounds already!
I know thats probably water weight, but still a great boost to my motivation!
I'm pretty hungry now, but I know that's a good thing, because it means it's working and I'm losing weight!
I'm a bit edgy right now, but I expected that when the there's a lack of sugar getting to my brain. This means mood stabalization isn't great and I found little things today more irritating than I normally do!
I just have to think the advantages at the end of this will far outweigh the disadvantages now.
Thankyou for the comments people- I find them extremely motivating!

I didn't really touch on this in my journal, but for the first three days any time I felt edgy I would ingest about 100mg of caffeine and it helps the brain to function with the lack of glucose and assists with some of the edgy.

Good job so far!
