D: chicken salad sandwich 5 bites

Exercise: walked for 30 mts at regular pace

I'm kind of glad to see I'm not the only one having coffee with some added calories. I just can't stand to drink black cofffee or tea, and if it only slows my progress down slightly, the creamer is totally worth it for me. I'm glad to see you're still going strong, it's great to have company while on the diet. Very Happy

Slimw5bd,

From some of the past posts that I have read here and on other sites, drinking coffee with cream in the morning has not really made that big of a difference in the weight loss. If it helps you to stay focused, I say keep doing it! You also eat some of the most interesting things. Was the tortilla and fish with cabbage something like a fish taco? Just wondering!

Day 10: 2/13/2011

Weigh in: 135.5
Start weight:140.9
So after a week I have lost only 5 pounds, wanted to lose more, guess I have a very slow metabolism, tiny bit disappointed. I am going to try cutting out coffee with milk and sugar in the morning and see if that helps to lose faster

You are pretty close to goal too so that might be part of it... 5 lbs. is really good too! Think of all the other diets - you maybe lose 1 -2 lbs. a week. Never 5!! Keep on trucking! Very Happy

Slimw5bd,

Don't be disappointed. 5 pounds is still a step in the right direction. Heck, I lost just 5 pounds last week! Every little bit helps. The other ladies are exactly right. With other diets, you would see a 5 pound loss in about two and a half weeks. Compared to that, you are losing at warp speed! I am very happy for you. That's 5 pounds towards your goal!

Ya for shur don't be disappointed 5 a week is awesome your only 135lb you just keep on keeping on that's almost 1lb a day I went like 7 days without loosing at all and then dropped 4 the next day that's still only 4 for that week I think your doing great keep it up Very Happy
