I haven't reached my goal yet but I will

Hi everyone,

It's been a while since I decided to take a break from this diet. It's been very hard to lose these pounds. January 2013 - 180 lbs, September 2013 - 156.5, June 2014 - 140 lbs. So 20 lbs left to reach my goal. I'm not very motivated but I need to do this for myself, for my self-esteem...

Thanks, blaqpepa!  Smile Well, yesterday I didn't count my bites. In fact, that wasn't part of my plan. I was supposed to count calories which I didn't and as a result I gained 0.4 lbs. Maybe it's also due to constipation, that's why I'll have All Bran cereals for lunch.

Day1 - 140 lbs
Day2 - 140.4 lbs

Ugg I feel you on the constipation. I'm thinking that's probably why my weight didn't budge from yesterday. These bowels movements, or lack thereof, are making the scale do crazy things. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

My weight hasn't changed a lot since last Friday. I didn't weigh during the week end, but yesterday I was at 140.2 and today -139 lbs.

Yesterday I had 1 cup of milk coffee, grean tea ,1 Snickers bar and All Bran cereals (50 g) with 1 apple and 1 pear. That's about 650 calories. I'll have the same menu today.

Great job keeping the calories low Claire. I definitely need more fibre doing 5 bites. Can't have wheat though, so maybe will add ground flax to whatever I'm eating.

Eating wheat cereals for dinner really helped me with my constipation. I'll also try to drink more water because I don't drink enough when I'm on a diet.
So, blaqpepa it's not a bad idea to get more fiber. It will certainly help your digestion.

I'll try to have the same menu this week: cereals, fruit, Snickers bar. Yesterday I had a little bit more cereals (75 g instead of 50).

Weight today: 138.5 lbs

Yesterday I had the same menu, I just had more fruit (3 pears). Weight today: 137.3 lbs

Your menu definitely seems to be working for you! Good job!
I started adding flax in yoghurt, lets just hope that it starts working sooner rather than later.

I was not in a good mood over the week end and I ate too much on Saturday and yesterday as well. That's why today I'm at 137.7 lbs. I have this bad tendency to overeat during the week-end. Evil or Very Mad

After this week-end I gained some weight instead of losing. As usually, during the week I lose weight and I put it all back in 2 days. I spent an awful week-end, big fight with my boyfriend, so I overate to "feel better". I actually never feel better, on the contrary I feel fat, I have abdominal pains due to huge quantities of food, etc. My weight today: 137.1 lbs. I'm sick of going back and forth with weight and yet I still do it.

I'm sorry to hear about the fight. I hope things get better for you!
I know exactly how you feel. I'm also so tired of the back and forth, it's really exhausting, and quite depressing really. But i know we can do this. Even if we aren't doing 5 bites exactly, as long as we keep to what we plan, and stop giving up on ourselves. We can do this!

Being on a diet for so long even if there were several breaks, even months of break sometimes, has had a bad impact on my metabolism.
On Monday I was at 137.1 lbs and today I weigh 136.7, so I only lost 0.4 lb in 2 days despite eating very little.

Whenever I'm having a bad day, I tend to overeat. Yesterday it was not the case, I was so down that even food couldn't comfort me and I only ate 4 apples. I guess that's why my scale shows today 133.2 lbs.

It's actually a 3 week break and much more weight now.  Evil or Very Mad  137.8 lbs. But I must admit that I ate everything I wanted without thinking about calories. But this time I'm back on track. Today's menu: some melon and cabbage salad.

Weight today: 136 lbs. That's almost 2 pounds in 1 day, but I always lose more than 1 lb the 1st day after a long break.
